Julie Jurd, DPM

Julie Jurd, DPM is a board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon with 32 years of experience in overall family foot care and foot surgery, treating patients of all ages-from children to the elderly.

Dr. Jurd hails from Ontario, Canada. She attended medical school at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland, CA, graduating with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 1990. Her postgraduate training included a two-year podiatric residency at Bon Secours Hospital in Baltimore, MD.

Dr. Jurd is board-certified with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a Fellow with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She has been affiliated with Frederick Health since 2005.

Continuing education is very important to Dr. Jurd in order to stay current with advancements in podiatric techniques, and to always be perfecting her professional skills.

Dr. Jurd is the proud mother of three adult children who were all involved with competitive soccer and ski racing. Dr. Jurd enjoys hiking, playing pickleball, and traveling in her spare time.
